When arranging a children's room, most parents have a clear wish - the furniture should serve as long as possible, without the need for frequent replacement. On the one hand, the point is that the furniture should be solid, so that it can withstand various types of stress that are often encountered in a children's room - on the other hand, it should also be designed in such a way as to serve children of different age groups. We made sure that our set of children's furniture meets both requirements.

It doesn't matter if you want them to complement a boy's or girl's room. The design and colors are completely gender neutral. All furniture is dominated by two colors: white and the natural color of beech wood. For the production of furniture, we use solid beech and pine wood as well as high-quality MDF and furniture boards that meet all safety standards.

How to arrange a child's room?

A child's tastes often change - therefore furniture in a child's room should be a good basis for adopting and reflecting these changes in personality and interests. Neutral furniture design combined with bright colors and modern shapes that can be integrated into any interior will certainly be the best choice. But let's look at each item in our kit.

Children's bed with a sleeping surface: 80 x 180 cm, without a mattress, beech/white

The place to sleep is probably the most important place in every room - the bed must be comfortable and ensure the safety of the child. It must also be solid because children often do not take care of their furniture. However, it is worth remembering that the child grows quickly. So it does not hurt to buy an "adult" bed for a child measuring 180 x 80 cm.

The colors used - beech wood and white - will bring some warmth to the children's room and make your child's sleeping place more comfortable. The stable construction stands on four legs made of solid wood. The materials used - both solid wood and furniture panels - meet all applicable standards. The load capacity of the frame with even pressure is approx. 80 kg, which should also be enough for slightly older children.

Chest of drawers for children's room, width 120cm, beech/white

You may already know this chest of drawers as part of the baby's room equipment from our SOFIE BABY set - but there it was additionally equipped with a changing table. However, you won't need it anymore as your child grows up. The chest of drawers itself can still be successfully used in a youth room.

When a child was a baby, a place in a dresser was used to store diapers and baby cosmetics - but that doesn't mean that this place in a preschooler's or student's room is no longer needed. A chest of drawers can be a perfect addition to a wardrobe where not everything will fit. The furniture is 120 cm wide and has three drawers and a lockable cabinet with three shelves.

Drawers, although large, can easily be used by a child. They are very easy to move because they move on ball guides that work very lightly and quietly.

Like all elements of our 6-piece set, the chest of drawers also stands on four solid wooden legs that give the furniture the desired stability. This solution also facilitates cleaning under the chest of drawers.

Two-door wardrobe, width 80 cm, beech/white

Not only girls can have a lot of clothes - boys also want to look good today, so they need a lot of space for their clothes. If your child continues to play sports, the space needed for clothes increases quickly - sports equipment takes up a lot of space. And with our wardrobe, you can be sure of one thing - it will serve your child well for several years.

The wardrobe has been divided into three main areas: the lower drawer, the left part with compartments and the right part with a clothes rail. The drawer has the same width as the entire cabinet - i.e. 80 cm minus twice the thickness of the wood-based panel from which the side walls are made. This provides plenty of storage space that any child can use. And thanks to the use of ball bearing slides, even small children can easily slide the drawer out and in by themselves. The mechanism of the guides works reliably, lightly and quietly.

Here again, the color combination should be emphasized - through a minimalist, but modern and warm combination of nature and white, we get a wardrobe that can be integrated into any children's room, almost regardless of what is already in it. Thanks to this minimalist design, the cabinet can be "beautified" as you like - with stickers, your child's drawings and more.

Bookcase for children's room, width 80 cm, beech/white 

Over the years, a child needs more and more space - not only does he need more clothes, but also toys, games, books, etc. Everything that characterizes a child and describes and supports his hobbies. It is very important that the bookcase is more than just a decorative element - it should be practical and offer a useful place to store various things.

The space has been divided into a total of eight compartments on 3 levels: three above, two in the middle and three below. The distribution of colors is also noteworthy: the outer frame is made in the natural color of beech wood, while the internal compartments and shelves are white.

The total height of the bookcase is 146 cm - so most school children will easily reach the top shelf. The total width - 80 cm - makes the piece of furniture find its place in almost any room.

Desk with drawer, width 111 cm, beech/white 

Children change very quickly – they grow up, acquire new interests and tastes. Younger children need space for creative play, while older children need a comfortable place to study. That is why it is worth taking care of setting a suitable desk for them in the children's room. Our functional desk with drawers and containers for office supplies will certainly be appreciated while studying or playing. A small drawer and an open compartment under the desk will certainly be useful for younger and older children. An additional organizer on the right side of the desk makes it easier to keep order and can be used as a place for office supplies or your favorite mascot. Pleasant colors of the desk - white/beech perfectly match the other furniture in the Sofie series.

Bedside table, width 39 cm, beech/white

The Sofie furniture set is complemented by a small bedside table that can be placed next to the bed. The table is made in the same colors and style as the chest of drawers and the wardrobe. Despite its small size, you can easily put a bedside lamp on the table. In the drawer we can store books or favorite toys. Bigger children will find the perfect place for a mobile phone charger here. It all depends on the needs and preferences of our child.

Assembling individual furniture for a children's room can be quite tiresome - you can often find furniture that fits together, but the quality of workmanship or dimensions are not quite right.
