Upholstery material and colors

The mesh used in the seat back is available in black.          

The seat is upholstered with a pleasant to the touch, breathable FLEX fabric (100% polyester). The fabric meets the safety standards in terms of flame retardance. There are many colors to choose from.

Both the fabric and the mesh are highly resistant to abrasion.

At the customer's request, it is possible to order an upholstered armchair with a different material from the Grospol upholstery catalog provided by the manufacturer. 

SYNCHRO SELF mechanism

The chair is equipped with a very good Synchro SELF movement mechanism consisting in the simultaneous movement ("rocking") of the backrest and the seat, with the possibility of locking in any chosen tilt position. The backrest tilt movement is faster than the seat movement. Smooth adjustment of the backrest inclination angle guarantees ergonomic back support along the entire length. The adjustment of the backrest tilt force is automatically adjusted to the user's weight. Additionally, the chair is equipped with an Anti-Shock mechanism, which automatically prevents the backrest from hitting the user's back after the user releases the selected reclining position. The solutions used in the chair ensure a healthy body posture during work, relieving the spine and protecting the back.

Armchair backrest

The height of the backrest can be adjusted in the range of 65 mm by freely locking it on one of the available 6 adjustment levels. This solution is especially appreciated by tall users (height even above 190 cm).  

The backrest is equipped with a special profile of the lumbar part with adjustable height, which allows it to be adapted to the individual anatomical features of the user.

A practical clothes hanger is installed as standard on the back of the backrest.

The backrest of the armchair is upholstered with abrasion-resistant black mesh, which flexibly adjusts to the user's back. Thanks to its structure, the mesh is pleasant to the touch and ensures proper air circulation. The mesh has a flame retardant certificate (cigarette).

Armchair seat

The Futura swivel armchair has a seat with a height and seat depth adjustment mechanism (the distance between the seat and the backrest). These functions allow the chair to be adjusted to the user's height. Smooth height adjustment is carried out by a pneumatic lift. Additionally, the seat is equipped with a hardness (elasticity) adjustment mechanism of the central part of the seat. The user can use the knob to adjust the seat properties to his preferences.

Headrest

The Futura armchair is equipped with a headrest upholstered with a net, which is adjustable in height, depth and angle of inclination.

4D armrests

The armrests used in the Futura 4S Plus armchair are adjustable:

- heights up and down which allows you to adjust the height of the armrest so that the forearm is at an angle of 90 degrees to the body. The armrest height adjustment range is 9 cm;

- distance from the backrest front - rear; 

- position angle (pointing the armrests inwards makes it easier to type on the keyboard, pointing them outwards makes it easier to get up from the chair;

- the distance between the armrests and the seat (to the sides) - they adjust the position of the armrests to the individual characteristics of the user even better.

The above possibilities of adjusting the armrests have a positive effect on the human body because they significantly relieve the back muscles during long work in a sitting position.

A durable aluminum rolling base gives the chair lightness and a modern look.

Colic

As standard, the FUTURA chair is equipped with soft wheels with a diameter of 60 mm. The silicone surface of the wheels reduces wear on hard floor surfaces such as wooden parquet or laminate flooring. The large size of the 60 mm wheels makes it easy to move the chair and additionally gives it an attractive look. The pin diameter is 11 mm.
